Thursday 29th March 2018-Year 5 Titanic Exhibition Day
To bring our topic of Titanic to a close pupils and staff would like to invite parents, guardians and family members to join us in celebrating the wonderful work that pupils have produced.
Come along to PDCS school main hall on Thursday the 29th of March at 10am to join us for light refreshments whilst relaxing and listening to the children share all of what they have learned and produced. You even have the opportunity to purchase your child's fantastic art work in the form of a little souvenir! The children are looking forward to welcoming you all and sharing their experiences.

Colby Woodland National Trust Garden March 2018
Year 5 pupils will be visiting Colby Woodland this month on the dates below to participate in a science project. Letters to follow shortly.

World Book Day 2018-Friday 2nd March
This year we will be holding World Book Day on Friday the 2nd March. We are inviting all pupils to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. We hope everyone will get involved in the fun! We looking forward to seeing the wonderful costumes and the range of characters!
St Davids Day-Eisteddfod
Just a reminder that year 5 will be performing their St Davids day concert on Thursday the 1st March at 12.00pm. Remember to purchase your ticket priced just 50p each. We look forward to welcoming all family and friends. Diolch!
7th December Festive Fun-Santa charity run
Get in the festive spirit and join us in our festive Christmas run whilst raising money for a super charity. All monies greatly received via our just giving page.

Friday 20th October-Charity awareness and fundraising
On Friday the 20th October we are asking pupils to join us in coming to school wearing something yellow! This is to raise the much needed awareness of 'Spina Bifida' and the impact that it has on some people and their families. Please help us, dig deep for something yellow and why not bring in 50p too so that you can enjoy a delicious cake at breaktime, all monies raised from the cake sale will be donated to the 'Paul Satrori' charity.
16th October-Shwmae day
All pupils are invited to join in the fun to celebrate Shwmae day by wearing something red, white or green to school! There will be a range of fun activities happening throughout the day in year 5. Make sure you're in school so that you don't miss out!!
