Lead Creative Schools Project News

Among the first guests that the Year 4 Lead Creative Schools Project Group welcomed to the Library this week was David James, Secretary of the West Wales Maritime Heritage Society. The children thanked Mr James for Sinbad, the 100 year old clinker-built rowing boat that now graces the school library, which had come from the Society’s yard on Front Street and Mr James  asked the children for ideas as to how the Heritage Society might create exhibits for their museum that would be appropriate for children.

The children conducted an interview in order to gather ideas and Mr James shared his extensive knowledge of the maritime history of Pembroke Dock and his own version of the Betty Foggy story.
