Safer Internet Day 2018
Safer Internet Day saw pupils across the school take part in a variety of exercises and activities with the emphasis on developing awareness of staying safe online.
Pupils in Key Stage 2 made pledges to stay safe online and also entered a competition to create their own acronym to give advice on how to stay safe online. Some of the posters are superb and the digital leaders will be judging them when they are all completed.
The digital leaders met with Jenny Greener for a session on improving their safety online. This was a followed by a session outside meeting parents to discuss password strength and how easy it is to be 'hacked' when a password is not long enough. The digital leaders gave some really practical advice which will hopefully help parents become more digitally secure.
