HOMEWORK

Homework will be handed out every Friday and expected back in school on Monday. In addition to weekly homework we will be setting Learning Log tasks twice every half term, for you as parents and guardians to engage in with your child. More information on Learning Logs can be found on the inside of your child's Learning Log book.

Reading

All children have their own reading folder and individual reading book that will be brought home daily to read to an adult at home. Please record the minutes read each night so that this can be recorded on our 'Time to Read, Time to Learn' wall and the children's efforts can be recognised. We encourage 20 minutes per week night. All books are to be returned to school with your child each day please.

Flipped Learning task

Flipped learning is when children take responsibility for their own learning prior to coming into the classroom. We will be asking the children to watch a video clip or undertake some research with the hope of sparking their curiosity so that they can bring knowledge, ideas and questions back into the class to share with their teachers and peers.
