We will also keep the webpage updated with important events and dates ahead so you are able to keep a check on what will be happening and about anything your child may require for specific events or special days. We hope the website is of some help to you and your child and that you are able to take a look regularly at what's been happening and are informed in advance of important dates ahead.

PE / FREE RUNNING

PE and free running takes place on a Tuesday morning. Please ensure your child has suitable footwear and a change of clothing.

HOMEWORK

Homework is in the form of a Learning Log, which will be given out once every half term. In addition, reading books should go home daily and be returned to school the following day. Also some weeks maths homework will be placed on the website  for your child to watch and think about before they return to school. Our aim is for to them bring their prior knowledge back into the classroom for us to assess before teaching a new topic or concept. These short video clips will be placed in the Flipped Learning folder. Literacy or maths homework will be handed out on a Tuesday and should be returned to school by the Friday.

BEHAVIOUR

Good behaviour is rewarded with stars, giving the children the opportunity to receive certificates and prizes. They can also earn 'House Points' for the teams too. The children also receive ‘Seren Cymraeg’ for making an effort to speak the Welsh language throughout the school day. We have a clear behaviour charter in place that children need to adhere to. For any pupil that fails to comply with the rules of the charter there are clear consequences in place.

If you can't find all that you are looking for on the website or have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact us!

Diolch yn fawr, thank you very much!
