Enterprise Cymraeg/ Dragons Den

Enterprise Fayre 29th March 2017

Year 5 pupils were responsible for a pitch in the 'Springboards Enterprise Fayre'. The fayre was held after school in the main hall on the 29th March. The children sold their recent welsh craft that they had made as part of their enterprise work on their theme 'Dragons Den'. The stall was a great success and all items were sold out in a short space of time. Pupils were responsible for all aspects including the handling of the money, recording number of items sold and the profit made. What a success and well done to the year 5 pupils who gave up their time to run it! We look forward to next term when we will definitely be taking part in another Enterprise Project, only next time even bigger we hope! Thank you to all of the customers who supported the children. Diolch!

Enterprise preparations underway!

Pupils have been underway this week creating their Welsh products for the 'Enterprise Fayre' take a look at just some of the products that will be on sale.

Pupils face the Dragons!

Pupils were fully engaged this week as they presented their pitch to the Dragons! Pupils had a vartery of craft cymraeg ideas that could possibly be sold at the enterprise fayre. Following persuasive presentations pupils are now left waiting to see if the Dragons will invest in them and their product!

Pupils prepare for business!

Pupils waste no time in planning for the up coming enterprise event. With precise costings calculated and profit worked out they prepare their pitch speeches ready to convince the dragons! Keep a look out to see how they're getting on! Pob lwc pawb!

Calculating costings

Pupils are engaged in their new Dragons Den Welsh Enterprise project. Following a video clip of the episode Dragons Den, pupils have begun their own projects by generating possible ideas to be made and sold for a profit at their very own 'Welsh Enterprise Fayre' later in the term.  Many fantastic ideas have been gathered and after brainstorming materials and quantities needed pupils will calculate final costs and possible profits, before convincing the Year 5 Dragons that they should invest in their project!
