Once upon a time, there lived a man and his wife. They lived in a house next door to a witch.
The witch grew yummy lettuces in her garden. One day, the man stole some of the lettuces and the witch caught him.
Soon after, the lady had a baby girl.
When the little girl was born, the witch took her away and named her Rapunzel.
The witch locked Rapunzel in a tall tower. Rapunzel’s hair grew longer and longer.
The witch called out “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair.”
The witch used Rapunzel’s hair to climb the tall tower.
One day, a handsome prince found the tower in the forest. He watched the witch climb Rapunzel’s hair.
When the witch had gone, he called “ Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair.” And he climbed up the tower too!
The prince visited Rapunzel every day. When the witch found out, she was angry.
Unfortunately, the witch cut off Rapunzel’s hair and sent her off into the forest.
Luckily, the Prince rescued her and they lived happily ever after in his kingdom.
