UNCRC 30th birthday celebrations

Great celebrations to celebrate the UNCRC's 30th birthday! Pupils applied their understanding and knowledge of children's rights to create their own bilingual calendar of rights. They also collaborated effectively to discuss many ideas and ordered them into a diamond 9 with confident justifications for their choices.

EI-2 Engage with contemporary issues based upon their knowledge and values

EI-3 Understand and exercise the impact of their actions when making choices and acting

A fantastic response to Children In Need day with pupils dressing up, participating in the football kick ups challenge, baking and buying cakes! Pupils also worked hard to research the history of the charity and the real purpose and work involved behind it. Congratulations to all those who entered the bake off and the the overall year 5 winners Lily and Ronnie. Well done all 🍰👨🏽‍🍳👩🏻‍🍳

EI-4 Are knowledgable about their culture, community, society an the world, now and in the past

Year 5 were thoroughly engaged in our recent trip to Tenby to further explore the Ironman event. They had opportunities to discuss preparations for the event, speak to nutritionists and even had the opportunity to speak to Radio Pembrokeshire.
