We have had so much fun today completing our Maths work. We have been timing our partners completing different events and recording the times correctly. We then had to order the results from fastest to slowest.

PS3: I can use different scales to extract and interpret information from a range of diagrams, tables and graphs, including pie charts with simple fractions and proportions.

Today, we have been using our knowledge of bar charts and pie charts to interpret sets of data.

PS3: I can represent information by creating a variety of appropriate charts of increasing complexity, including tally charts, frequency tables, bar graphs and line graphs.

We have been developing our data skills today by drawing a graph using graph paper. We then had to plot two different sets of data.

Using Singapore Maths, we have been working together to interpret data in graphs. Once confident with this we applied our prior knowledge and completed independent activities.

We have been working hard on our reasoning skills this week, using CUBES. Once we had decided on the correct methods to use to solve the problems, we then used Seesaw to explain our answers.

We have used our knowledge of number facts to answer word problems. We have also used inverse operations to check our answers.

We have been combining a range of skills today to create databases on different wind farms around the UK. Once complete we analysed the data that we collected.

We have been using 'CUBES' to develop our numerical reasoning. We have been working hard to show our workings and explain our answers.

We have been working with decimals today. Completing a range of activities and choosing our own level of challenge.

PS3: I can fluently recall multiplication facts up to at least 10 x 10 and use these to derive related facts.

AC1: Set themselves high standards and seek and enjoy challenge

We have had fun working on our rapid recall of times tables. There are a range of strategies we use to help us and we enjoy the challenge.
