Festive fun at Pembroke Dock Community School

THERE’S been plenty of festive fun taking place at Pembroke Dock Community School recently, with the start of the school’s Christmas activities.

The celebrations started with a wonderful Year 3 and 4 carol service at St John's Church, where everyone was warmly welcomed by the Reverend Nicky Skipworth.

Year 3 and 4 sang their hearts out in front of a packed audience and helped to get everyone in to the Christmas spirit.

As part of the celebrations in St John's Church, the school was asked to contribute a tree to the Christmas tree festival and the pupils did not disappoint as they created a sparkling Christmas tree made from recyclable materials.

Pupils then enjoyed a superb Christmas dinner which was prepared by the dedicated Sodexo catering staff, who had been in from 3am in the morning to prepare for the dinner.

Later that week, the Foundation Phase put on their Christmas productions, with Early Years performing the first nativity, Reception performing The Little Nativity and Years 1 and 2 putting on a magnificent performance of The Bossy Christmas Fairy.
