A chwarae cuddio gyda Sam.

Year 1 and 2 English Translation:

I like…

I like the sun and fine weather

And going to the seaside every summer,

Swimming in the big blue sea,

Making a sand castle, running a race.

I like walking in the woods

With the leaves crunching under my feet,

Having a picnic with Dad and Mum

And playing hide and seek with Sam.

Food

Eating a big breakfast every morning –

Cornflakes, bacon and eggs,

Toast and honey and strawberry yogurt –

What a lovely, tasty breakfast.

Meat and carrots, potatoes, gravy –

Those are the foods I like;

Then sweet apple pudding -

What a lovely, tasty lunch.

Supper time, bacon sandwich

And as a treat, there’s lemon cake,

Cold milk and healthy fruit –

What a lovely, tasty supper.

Year 5 and 6 - Antur

Dwi wedi sgio lawr mynydd uchel,

Ac wedi nofio ar draws y Môr Tawel.

Dwi wedi gleidio o ochrau’r Wyddfa,

A rhedeg marathon drwy’r Sahara.

Mi fum fel aderyn yn lledu adenydd

Mewn naid o awyren uwch Seland Newydd.

Mi wnes i naid bynji o bont yn Awstralia,

A marchogaeth ceffylau ar draws yr India.

Mewn anialwch neu awyr, ar fôr ac ar fynydd,

Be ydy’r gwananiaeth rhwng dychymyg a chelwydd?

Year 5 and 6 English Translation:

Adventure

I have skied down a high mountain,

And swam across the Pacific Ocean.

I’ve glided on the sides of Snowdon,

And ran a marathon through the Sahara.

I was like a bird spreading its wings

In a jump from an aeroplane above New Zealand.

I did a bungee jump from a bridge in Australia,

And rode horses all over India.

In a desert or sky, on the sea and on a mountain,

What’s the difference between imagination and lies?
