PE takes place on a Thursday morning. This year, we are also introducing a daily 1km walk/run as part of our healthy schools initiative.  Please make sure that your child has suitable footwear and a change of clothing daily (this could be brought in on a Monday and kept in school for the week). Can you ensure that all clothing has your child's name on it please.

Homework is in the form of a Learning Log, which will be given out every two weeks. In addition, reading books should go home daily and 110 Club once a week. It is important that you support your child with their reading, learning log and practising their times tables.

Your child will also be researching their Genius Hour project, it will be inspired by their passions. They will have an hour a week in school dedicated to researching and presenting their big question. We will send home their question so you will be able to support them in their research.

Each week a Pupil from each class will be awarded ‘Seren Cymraeg’ to celebrate their effort in speaking the Welsh language.

This Spring Term we have started Genius Hour in Year 3. One hour a week is dedicated to the children carrying out research and presenting a project driven by their own own passions. The children have their own big question, they have choice in what they learn and can be as creative as they wish. We are very excited to see what they will produce this term!
